Traidly Help Centre

Straightforward help for accounts, jobs, subbies, Trade Market, Traidly Pro, safety and more.

Stay safe when connecting

Verify who you are dealing with before paying, hiring, starting work or handing over goods. Be cautious of unusual payment requests, fake receipts, pressure to act quickly and requests for passwords, verification codes or sensitive information.

Getting started

Accounts, profiles and the basics of using Traidly.

What is Traidly?

Traidly is an Australian platform built to help tradies, subcontractors, businesses and customers connect. You can browse tradie profiles, find or post jobs, find subcontracting opportunities, advertise subcontractor availability and buy or sell trade-related items through Trade Market.

Do I need an account to use Traidly?

You can browse parts of Traidly without signing in, but an account is required for features such as posting, messaging, saving items, managing listings and building a tradie profile.

How do I update my account details?

Open your account menu and go to Account Settings. Business and tradie profile details can be managed separately through Edit Tradie Profile or Manage Business when those options are available on your account.

What is the difference between a personal account and a tradie profile?

Your account is your sign-in identity. A tradie profile is the public-facing profile for a trade business or professional presence on Traidly. Marketplace listings can also be shown under a personal or business seller identity where that option is available.

Find a Tradie

Finding and contacting tradies and businesses.

How do I find a tradie?

Go to Find a Tradie and use the available search and filter options to narrow results by the details shown on each profile. Open a profile to view the business information, work examples and other public details the tradie has chosen to provide.

Does Traidly guarantee or endorse tradies listed on the platform?

No. Traidly provides a platform for people and businesses to connect. Unless Traidly specifically states otherwise on a profile or feature, you should independently check the person or business, relevant licences, qualifications, insurance, references and suitability before engaging them.

What should I check before hiring a tradie?

Confirm the scope of work, price, timing and who you are dealing with. Where a licence, registration, permit or insurance is relevant, check it with the appropriate authority or provider for your state or territory. Keep important agreements and payment details in writing.

Jobs

Posting jobs and responding to opportunities.

How do I post a job?

Open Find / Post Jobs and choose Post a Job. Add accurate information about the work, location, description and any other requested details, then publish the listing.

Where can I manage jobs I have posted?

Open your account menu and select My Jobs. From there you can view and manage the jobs attached to your account.

Does Traidly set the price or terms for a job?

No. The people involved are responsible for agreeing on the scope, pricing, payment terms, timing and other conditions of the work. Traidly is the platform that helps users connect.

Subbies

Hire a Subbie and Find Subbie Work.

What is Hire a Subbie?

Hire a Subbie lets businesses browse subcontractors who have advertised their availability for work. Open the listing or profile to review the information provided and contact them through the available Traidly features.

What is Find Subbie Work?

Find Subbie Work is for subcontracting opportunities posted by businesses looking for help. Subcontractors can browse available work and respond where the opportunity suits them.

How do I manage my subbie listings or jobs?

When you have relevant activity on your account, management options such as My Subbie Jobs or My Hire a Subbie can appear in your account menu.

Is a subcontractor automatically an employee of the business posting work?

No conclusion about employment status should be made simply because work is found through Traidly. The parties are responsible for their working arrangement and for meeting any applicable tax, workplace, licensing, insurance and contracting obligations.

Trade Market

Buying and selling trade-related items.

How do I sell an item on Trade Market?

Open Trade Market and choose Post an Item. Add clear photos, an accurate description, condition, price and location. If your account supports it, you can choose whether the listing is shown under your personal or business seller identity.

Where can I edit or remove my marketplace listings?

Open your account menu and select My Marketplace Listings. Your available management actions are shown with each listing.

Does Traidly handle or guarantee marketplace payments?

Do not assume a payment is protected, held in escrow or guaranteed by Traidly unless the platform explicitly tells you that for the specific transaction. Buyers and sellers should verify payment details and the identity of the other party before transferring money or goods.

How can I trade more safely?

Be cautious of unusually low prices, pressure to act immediately, requests to pay unexpected fees, suspicious payment links, fake receipts or requests to move communication to unfamiliar channels. Confirm that you are dealing with the real person or business before paying or handing over goods.

Messages & saved items

Inbox conversations, saved listings and alerts.

Where are my Traidly messages?

Open Inbox from the header or your account menu. Conversations are linked to the relevant Traidly activity where that context is available.

What are Saved Items?

Saved Items gives you a place to return to listings, jobs or profiles you have saved while browsing Traidly.

What should I do if a message looks suspicious?

Do not send money, passwords, verification codes or sensitive information because someone pressures you to do so. Stop engaging with suspicious requests and contact Traidly at hello@traidly.com.au with the relevant details.

Traidly Pro

Business profile features and subscription help.

What is Traidly Pro?

Traidly Pro is the enhanced business experience within Traidly. The features shown on your account may include expanded business profile tools, public profile features, alerts, analytics and other Pro functionality.

Where do I manage Traidly Pro?

If Traidly Pro is active on your account, use Manage Business in the header. Subscription-related settings are available through Account Settings where supported.

I have a billing or subscription issue. Who do I contact?

Email hello@traidly.com.au with the email address attached to your Traidly account and a short description of the issue. Do not send card numbers, passwords or security codes by email.

Account & privacy

Personal information, access and account help.

How can I ask about the personal information Traidly holds about me?

Email hello@traidly.com.au from the address associated with your account. You can ask about access to or correction of your personal information. Traidly may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

How do I request a correction to my personal information?

Update information directly in your account or profile where the relevant field is editable. If you cannot correct something yourself, contact hello@traidly.com.au and explain what needs to be corrected.

How do I request account deletion?

Some information may need to be retained where required or permitted by law or where reasonably necessary for security, dispute handling or record-keeping. The Privacy Policy will explain Traidly's handling practices in more detail.

Should I send sensitive information to Traidly by email?

Only send information reasonably necessary for Traidly to understand and handle your request. Never email passwords, authentication codes or full payment-card details.

Safety & reporting

Scams, suspicious activity and problems with other users.

How do I report a suspicious user, listing or message?

Email hello@traidly.com.au with the relevant profile or listing details, what happened and any useful screenshots or context. Avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal information.

What should I do if I think I have been scammed?

Stop sending money or information, contact your bank or payment provider promptly if a payment is involved, preserve relevant messages and transaction records, and report the activity to the appropriate Australian authorities. You can also contact Traidly so we can review activity on the platform.

Can Traidly resolve disputes between users?

Traidly may review platform activity and take action under its platform rules, but Traidly is not a court, tribunal, regulator or substitute for professional legal advice. The people involved remain responsible for their agreements and for pursuing appropriate dispute-resolution options.
